Knitting for Toowoomba's Needy

I just wanted to tell you lovely people about this organisation. We are a branch of another organisation, Knitting for Brisbane's Needy. This was started by a good friend of mine, Karen Croke - then I moved from Brisbane to Toowoomba 18 months ago, and have started a Toowoomba branch of this same group. Good weather for ducks, in Hume Street

We were talking about how it was great weather for ducks, and guess what, driving down Hume Street at the James Street intersection and the traffic cames to a halt.

Two ducks obviously thought it was a great day for a walk. They waddled across the pedestrian crossing, a little confused, but made it, and the best thing is everybody made the effort to allow them across safely.

Heart warming.

The character of the Joker exposes a particular aspect of humans - that part that stimulates us to have a morbid sense of curiosity, to be engrossed by acts that we would not w… Continue
