Knitting for Toowoomba's Needy

Knitters, Crocheters, and people who sew for homeless and needy people on The Darling Downs. We need members - no rules, no quotas, make what you like, when you like - every item helps - nothing is sold, everything is freely given.

We also need information of organisations who are in contact with less fortunate people, who would like some of our beanies, blankets, baby wear, socks, gloves, scarves etc to give to a homeless or desperate person on the Darling Downs. A contact name and phone number or email address please so we can get in touch and make arrangements to deliver our donations of clothing.

If you can help us by making something - we'd love to hear from you. If you have a load of wool, patterns and needles to give away - we would love to hear from you too! Please - no second hand clothes unless in spanking 'as new' condition! We like to give new items where possible - although sometimes, good condition second hand clothes can be accepted especially for women's refuges etc.
